Every year, more than 13,000 people are affected by Melanoma skin cancer. That’s around 37 people who are diagnosed with the disease every day.
Melanoma is a type of skin cancer, which arises from the pigment cells (melanocytes) in the skin. It is one of the most deadliest types of cancer, but when detected early survival rates are very good.
